Extreme Charts
The accounting feature on the Simutrade Manager portion of Extreme Charts makes it simple to keep up with your current and completed trades. The results are available in an easy-to-read site, and make it easy to conduct a thorough and accurate accounting at the end of the year. This is particularly helpful when it comes time to file a tax return.
The reports on Simutrade manager produce a transaction record that's ideal for accounting use. It provides the date the trade was conducted, the stock or option purchased, the amount paid (or received) to open the position, as well as a description of the strategy used. The next line shows the date the trade was completed, the profit (or loss) incurred during the trade, and the percentage of profit or loss from the transaction.
The accounting feature can be used for funded and non-funded trades. It can be sorted according to trades that are opened or closed, by the date entered or the date close, the strategy used, or according to whether or not the trade was profitable. The feature allows a report to be generated for the month, for the year to date, or for a specific time frame.
Accounting Use info by BetterTrades Charts
Another portion of the accounting feature permits the user to recall a summary of all positions according to the strategy that was used. By checking the number of successful and unsuccessful trades, an individual can see what strategy is working and which one needs work. It's a great way to perform a self-examination for trading results and can reveal some interesting and insightful information.
