Track Your Trades - Extreme Charts

The Trade Tracker tool that comes with Extreme Charts makes it simple to track your trades, both non-funded and funded trades, in order to check your status. Whether you're doing well or need some assistance, Extreme Charts makes it easy to keep track of your trades and give yourself a progress report. It includes:

  • An "accounts" function, which allows the user to view their account, along with any adjustments (wins or losses) and the balance of the account.
  • The "orders" function enables a trader to keep up with open orders and closed orders, which lists the dates of the transaction, as well as pertinent price information regarding the trade. It's possible to buy and sell stocks, as well as edit and cancel orders.
  • The "trades" function allows the user to impose rules on their trades, as far as when to enter or exit a position. The user can manage the rules and adjust them according to the type of trade being conducted. This tab shows the current position, the entry date, the entry price and any rule for entering or exiting the position. Notes about the trade can be placed at the bottom of the screen, giving users a chance to write their thoughts about the transactions: why they entered, why they exited, what they did right, what they did wrong, etc.
  • The "positions" tab shows the current trade and the profit or loss the trade currently shows. It displays the price paid and the current price, giving the viewer instant feedback about the direction of the trade.
  • The "Activity log" produces a list of the flow of orders, from the initial submission, including any modification, to the end of the transaction. Each step of the activity has the date and time stamped alongside it. This makes it easier for traders to keep up with how they have fared with each trade. The "print" button makes it easy to create a copy for your files.
