A watchlist is simply a list of stocks that a trader wants to keep their eye on. For whatever reason, these stocks are worth watching. Perhaps they meet specific criteria. Perhaps they are approaching a critical price point. Perhaps they share common characteristics. A watchlist can be composed for any reason.
A watchlist is easy to create and use with Extreme Charts with the Toolbox Kit. A user creates a new symbol group, gives it a name and types the ticker symbol of each stock they want to watch into a field. The name of the watchlist will now appear in the symbol grid of Extreme Charts, which makes it convenient and easy to access.
Traders can create as many watchlists as they desire. The watchlists can contain as many stocks as they want to watch. Stocks can be added to the watchlist when needed. Likewise, it's easy to delete stocks from the list, too.
